I'm trying to read from different sources about raw food.
found this site:
www.beyondveg.com
it's a very interesting site, lots of helpful articles written by long-time vegetarians, raw fooders, fruitarians.. etc.
I agree with the idea in some articles that, diet should not be dogma.
I'm doing this for health reasons.. (though ofcourse I respect people who are doing it for phylosophical or ethical reasons.)
So I'm not intending to obsess about the ultimate 100%, or being 100% pure.
I like to take care of myself and to cherish the body that god has given me, but it's not the end of the world if I have some good cooked foods, or even bad cooked foods.
I want to get rid of the feelings of guilt and hatred between me and food.
I have an eating disorder already (bulimia).. I don't want this raw food diet to be a cover for my bulimia, I want through this diet, to start living a healthy, moderate lifestyle, in which I will mostly raw, (maybe 70% or above) with a bit of cooked foods here and there.
I want to be able to love all the food, and have everything I like occasionally.
For now, that's what I can do.
Today I had some nuts in the morning, and a big salad at lunch. (mostly raw with some cooked broccoli and red kidney beans)
I do not want to eat in the evening.
