Day 177

Rate this Entry
I feel like the energizer bunny - all super productive - today. Last night DS10 and I stayed up late to watch an episode of Swiss Family Robinson and Meet Me In St. Louis. He really loves old movies, me, not so much. However, I'd rather watch that with him than some of these newer shows. Bleck! Last year we started staying up late once a week to watch the TCM Jr. show and camping out in the living room. He loves that we're carrying on that tradition again this year.

So, we were up pretty late watching the old movies so I got up feeling kind of lazy and sluggish. I laid on the couch until 11am finishing Jambo, Mama and then got up to get something accomplished.

As it turns out, that bit of rest and relaxation was exactly what I needed to kick me into high gear in the afternoon. I decided to completely clean and neaten the back deck, clean and organize the extra freezer and deep clean both the dining room and breakfast room. I didn't expect to get nearly that much done but I'm glad I did.

Tomorrow I've decided that DS10 and I will stay home instead of going to the free movie. Instead, I'll get the ironing done, deep clean the living room and finish deep cleaning the bedroom and closet. I'm so happy to be unloading SO much stuff from my house. It's quite liberating.

I haven't managed any formal exercise today and at this point, it's just not going to happen. I don't feel so bad though since I was pretty active getting all that cleaning done.

Wow! You are like the energizer bunnyrabbit! Good job by you!
I need to get into the deep cleaning mode.
DD and I always watch Meet Me In St. Louis, it's one of her faves. Funny, I love old movies and she isn't that into them except for a few choice movies.
