It was the wrong cloud
the one you rode to heaven
now you tell me aloud
"I'll fail to be forgiven"
you look at me surprised,
"How come you can not see,
the tall cold wall?
waiting to see
me beg and crawl!
I'd rather walk away,
watch the days go astray,
than to cling to a shadow,
of a once was light"
I look at your hands
fragile.. maybe too fragile
to even hold
onto a shadow
I look at you.. confused,
"Is it the light
that lost its way to you?
Or is it you
that's desperately,
finding her way to slip
through mercy's fingers?

So ... this is something I wrote today after a long conversation/argument with two female co-workers. They were both trying to prove that the world is such a crappy place that there is nothing meaningful than to die.
When I tryed to speak of hope... they started demonstrating how miserable and unlucky they are, and how the world has been unfair to them.
They told me you haven't lived what we have... I tried to clarify that I'm not trying to be disrespectful for their sadness... or say that they're not strong enough...
I'm just saying there's a way....
one of them told me... "I'm realy worried about you from that attitude... we'll see when something bad happens to you how your reaction will be"
This realy scared me a bit.....
Maybe I was too much of a "miss sunshine".
What do you think it is that I could have done not to get this reaction?
