Day 174

Rate this Entry
Oh my stars, I'm so tired of hearing people whine about the flaws of the RFT community lately. Seriously people, either love it or leave it. That simple.

:/end rant

Okay, so it's raining... AGAIN. Jimminy Christmas, is summer proper EVER going to get here? I'm starting to think a canoe would be a wise investment. I'm also starting to think that someone moved us to Seattle and forgot to mention it. Yeesh.

I'm choosing to take advantage of the opportunity to be stuck indoors though. DS and I will watch some old movies on TCM and play board games. At some point we'll break for a little reading time and then get back to the movies and board games. Should be fun! DH, however, is in a mood over the never-ending rain (men and their grass cutting...) so he's out running some errands. Maybe he'll be in a better mood when he gets home and will want to join us.

DS10 will be going away to the in-laws house for 5 days in a few weeks and I'm already starting to plan how I want to spend those days. :::rubs hands together in GLEE::: It's always fun to have those few days of solitude but it's also always a joy to get him back.

For lunch today I decided to have another Stuffed Red Pepper Wrap but this time I tried making a chipotle avo mayo sauce. It was good but I put WAY too much chipotle in it so it was incredibly spicy.

Exercise
5 mile walk

Food
about 3 pounds of cherries
Stuffed Red Pepper Wrap
carrots & celery w/chipotle avo mayo dip

You got that one right. I was feeling down about what I've been reading on RFT, but then I decided why let it spoil a good thing.

About the rain in Seattle....that is a myth we spread to keep people away. ;) It is raining here again today, but it is the first rain we have had in 30 days. A new record.

Your red pepper wraps are on my must try list. :)
