A Little of This; A Little of That

It's 1 a.m. and I'm still focused on fit!

This is the time when I usually want to eat. I'm up! Well, that means any time I'm up I want to eat.. yet, not going to. Think I'll make some oj and have that with 1/2 oj, half water.

So, went waaaay beyond 10,000 steps yesterday. Was at just under 10,700 when I removed Ped at about 2 p.m. or so. Did much of my walking in the mountains, then walked up to the bank and back.

Did some iron club swinging also.

Made an interesting smoothie. Since we're going to RSF and I had about 6 or 8 VERY ripe bananas, I went to the garden and grabbed some greens. Many of them tend to be bitter so, I was wondering how to balance that out. Added some stevia leaves and a splash of vanilla. Greens (including chives and sorrel), what was left of the oj ~ about 1/2 C., water, bananas and vanilla. That's it! It was actually quite good. Made a full blender and had two 32 oz smoothies.

Off to RSF tomorrow ~ well, I guess it's today ~ in about 10 hours. Going to pick up the motorhome, drive over and park it. Set it up and hang out. Find places to walk so I can get my daily walk in. Taking my clubs and my mace. Between those and bodyweight movements, I should stay FIT!

Thanks for reading. I'll write again when I find some internet access. Until then...

Your recent comment about using our whole body appears to make us more fit rather than working out with weights was very interesting. Food for thought. Better to walk, swim, ride bike, work in garden, play in a sport etc., do construction or farm work - all makes me want to live in the country and do those things - for free. City life is abnormal and not conducive to good health in any way. btw - thanks again Revvell for helping me re "The Live Food Factor" book which I did order from Amazon.com.

    Hi Sue,

Yes, all those things do make sense. When I was creating my garden I felt SO great! All my muscles worked AND got something accomplished. Glad you got the book. If you saved on tax and shipping might have saved more than if you purchased it through this link where you save $5.
