A Little of This; A Little of That

Fat to Fit, another day!

Rating: 2 votes, 5.00 average.
Got in the full 10,000 steps yesterday although it was tough. Only got about 3 hours sleep that morning so, got started late ~ got just over 6,000 steps in. Slept most of the afternoon, then He wanted to go out for dinner. Did that and told Him I need 4,000 more steps so, we wandered the neighborhood until the required amount was in!

Today, getting a late start as well. Seems my brother died about 3 months ago and his "friend" is trying to get whatever money he had so didn't bother telling the courts about the next of kin ~ meaning moi until he was required to post a bond of $100,000! (don't have a clue what that's about)... Then he lied to me that he didn't know how to get a hold of me or any of my relatives. Come to find out he'd called my cousin to tell her ~ 3 months ago and she didn't call me so, we had a lil chat yesterday.

This a.m., trying to contact lawyers; getting Let's Talk Raw out to everyone so, not gone out walking yet. Lucky it's still overcast. Can get out and do the walk before coming home and preparing for Raw Spirit Festival which we're leaving for on Wednesday.

Whew! O.k., need cherries and oj/water combo AND to get out and walk.

Uh! Got a hold of my attorney in Ct. Waiting for a call-back. BTW ~ my bro and I were not close so, no condolences necessary and if any of you think I'm cold ~ I don't know the guy. Other than the few minutes I saw him in 2006 when my mother died, I'd not seen him in about 40 years. Total stranger. When I did know him he was an alcoholic abuser which is why I left home asap.

Life goes on and I've created my family here in Ca. Supportive and loving.

You've so inspired me, Rev, that I ordered a pedometer today when I ordered DH"s birthday gifts. I can't wait to get it.

Which did you get? Let's compare what we like; don't like about 'em if you want. I'm liking mine 'cept I can't figure out how to delete the previous day's count. It just starts a new day and is done after 99,999 steps if I read the directions correctly. Nice to be inspirational though. :)

I hope you can get it all sorted out and on the back backer before the festival. Have a great time and good luck with your speech on Sunday. Wish I was there.

I ordered the Omron HJ-112 Digital Pocket Pedometer. I've tried the cheapie's before but I was determined to get something that would REALLY work this time. I read lots of good things about this one and like the idea that it could be put in a pocket instead of clipped on the waistband and yet still be accurate. We shall see though. I'll let you know how I like it.

Thanks! I contacted my lawyer out there and told him to handle it. They'll send me papers to make me the administrator of the estate.... not that there's much estate to administer. I'm wondering how these people would be acting if there was. lol

Yeah, wish you were there too!

Yeah, mine said all that too. Clip, carry in purse or pocket, on Tri Axis, ets. Yanno what? I think we got a very similar one. Well, no, not really. Mine is the Omron HJ 303 Tri-Axis Pocket Ped. It's definitely better than the cheapie ones I've had. Yeah, let me know. Liking mine so far.
