STOP negative POSTS...Let's all be KIND to one another!!!!

I was sad to read some posts on a thread by a newbie who just asked a question. It's really sad to see that some who visit here are not supporting those who are weak. I come here because I love Alissa's book and want to be encouraged by others who love her book and try to follow it. Anyway, I always try to contribute to the positive atmosphere by being kind in my comments to others and I hope that it becomes contageous!!! :)

On a RAW FOOD note, well, so far I've had a Green Smoothie. I made a Salad for Lunch, and I'm gonna have Alissa's Enchaladas with it...MY FAVORITE!!!

I have to work tonight, so I'm gonna make my 1st GORILLA SANDWICH today!!!! I've been looking at the thread for it to get some ideas about what I'm gonna put in it, so I'll let you know and take some photos when I do it.

HAVE A RAWSOME DAY EVERYONE!!!!

    I'm not sure of the post you refer (I don't keep up very well) but if it concerned meat eating at all I have to stay out of those!

    If someone asks if they can eat raw meat or dairy (you can eat anything that isn't against the law, but ykwim) and I refer them to other sites or other authors the posts get deleted. I'm vegan but I didn't begin vegan/raw so I'm not really uptight about those kinds of questions.

    Being a veg isn't so wonderful that you get to act like some smug guru jerkoff to anyone who is not.

    (Your thread might be totally about something else. I guess I just wanted to rant. (;

    I'm not sure how to take your response, Selina... Did I sound like the "guru" you referred to or were you just making a general statement? I honestly didn't mean to (if you feel like I did)...Lord knows, I'm far from being an "expert"...

    Yea, I've seen people refer to other sites...I personally see nothing wrong with that (IMO...), but I'm talking about posts that slam others for asking a simple question or when people are judgemental of others. We are all on a "journey" here...some have just joined the race and other have been running it a long time. I honestly try to make my responses encourageing...

    BTW, you can feel free to "rant" anytime!!! :) Sometimes we just gotta get it out, ya know!!!

    Instead of "you" I meant:

    Being vegan is not something that makes us inherently
    better. Only a few lucky people have never had meat/dairy.
    We don't get to act like smug jerkoffs to other people who eat other things.

    I try to keep my eyes on my own plate lately. (I think I'm smug about people that are smug. (LOL)

    hope that clarifies my post! (:
