So, what does that mean? My question, when looking into the fridge continues. In our fridge, we've go a little tray where He keeps His cheese. What's really funny is, I don't even much care for the cheese He likes yet, the monkey mind, instead of hearing "I choose not have that" hear "I can't have that" and of course, it wants it! So, my question when looking into the fridge ~ "Fit or Fat"? Cheese is fattening, not to mention, when I eat it (or bread) for more than 2 or 3 days, it affects my breathing and my stamina. I can hear it in my voice. PLUS, my nose runs when I train, especially at night. Asking the question does nothing but bring awareness to my intent in becoming fit.
So, the next level or stage or whatever has begun. That's doing the "arbitrarily chosen" 10,000 steps a day. No one I've met or nothing I've seen has shown me why that number but, it's as good as any I suppose. It's difficult for many to do and it's certainly more than most of us do in a day unless we bring awareness to it.
Having said that, I did purchase a pedometer from Amazon. Before I tell you which one, etc. I'm going to test it out and give the goods and the bads on my personal blog. So far, getting the thing out of the packaging was a pita. Then, trying to figure out the directions. Sheesh! What I'd like to do is figure out how to clear everything from the previous day. It does begin a new day at 12 a.m. so, at least I know what's happening on any given day.
On thing I do like about it more than the cheap ones I had is that it doesn't record 5 steps every time I sit down and stand up. Actually, it doesn't record any steps when I do that.
So, off to a new day. Started by walking about 4969 steps, had a large (16 oz.) glass of orange juice and water and have a quart of smoozie sitting on my desk here. I think, I'll head out and get my first training in before settling in to work.
Thank you for any comments. If you wish to join the Fit or Fat "program", it's on the main forum. bfn!
