What does the SAVE DRAFT button do?

Rate this Entry
I recently discovered how to use a great feature on our blogs. Save Draft. I don't know why it took me so long to try it. I'll be using it a lot. If you aren't using it, give it a try.

Instead of clicking "Post Now", click Save Draft. The entry shows up on the blog entry list, but only you can see it. There is a little pen next to your title signifying it is a draft. You can come back in later and Edit Blog Entry by clicking on the pencil in the bottom of box just like you normally would to edit your entry. Be sure to click Save Changes when you are done. You can come back and edit as many times as you like. When you are ready to publish your entry, scroll down to Miscellaneous Options/Publish Status. Change it from "Draft Blog Entry" to "Publish Now". Then click Preview and Save Changes. Very cool tool. :)

Thanks for sharing Knitster. I could have used this today as I blogged all day long in spurts. I kept this information to use tomorrow. I love computers!
