Breakfast Smoothie; almond milk, frozen bananas, dates, cacao, lucuma, maca, farm honey, coconut oil, vanilla bean.

I couldn't bring myself to put green powders in this lovely smoothie. I poured a big glass of smoothie, then added several potent food powders to the blender, including Vitamineral Green and Vitamineral Earth. It turned into a very sweet green pudding with the strong flavor of bee pollen from the Vitermineral Earth. I would NOT recommend anyone try my pudding for the flavor. It is not for the squeamish. I ate it with a spoon right out of the blender, while standing at the kitchen sink. Then I sat down and enjoyed my lovely smoothie.

As I sit here typing and looking out the window at the wind and rain, I am experiencing a rush of strength and clarity of vision I didn't feel before breakfast. By strength I mean I'm ready to get up and move. By clarity of vision I mean eyesight. Everything inside and outside looks so crisp. Colors are so vivid. The trees and grass outside look impossibly green. If these things haven't changed since before breakfast, then my perception of them certainly has. Is it possible that the green pudding is the cause?

Following up on the remainder of the day...
In the afternoon I ate some dried mango. I put a few pieces in the food processor with turkish apricots, dates, hazelnuts, walnuts, coconut butter, and vanilla bean. Had to add a little agave to get it to stick together. It was good. I didn't eat too much, and called it lunch. Dinner was quick and light. About 16 oz of green smoothie, spinach and pineapple only. I managed to do a quick work out. Ten minutes is better than nothing, which is what I've been doing all winter. I'm going to exercise everyday from here on, little bursts 2 or 3 times a day.

My daughter came home from school with a 3' x 4' presentation board that HAD to be completed for part of her Freshman Project. If not done she would have to do another project in summer school to graduate from 9th grade. All my nagging this past 2 weeks did not inspire her, it probably hurt. What finally inspired her was while waiting for the bus after school a friend in the 8th grade asked to see her board. She opened it and showed her friend it was blank except for the title. Her friend was speechless, then she became excited exclaiming how wonderful it was going to be that they would both be in 9th grade together next year! Thank goodness for that friend. I didn't get to finish this draft entry last night because my daughter was using our computer from 3:00pm to midnight. She started gluing her work on the board and finished at 2:40am. I think she did a fine job, too. I just hope she doesn't fall asleep during her classmates presentations.

One more thing I have to note here. Serious flatulence! I'm so glad I wasn't out in public. My guess is it was the large doses of Vitamineral Green and Vitamineral Earth..?? I haven't been using them much this past month. The bottles state to start off with a teaspoon and gradually work your way up. I'm going to do that. I think I will also drink them seperately at different times of day. I'm not experiencing any gas this morning, but I hear a lot of gurgling. So far I've had 2 pints of water and a pint of cleansing tea. That may account for the gurgling. Signing off and heading for the fridge to finish the rest of last night's spinach/pineapple green smoothie. :)

I'm sure that was stressful for you to watch your daughter wait until the last second - I'm glad she got it finished!

any chance the gas is from dried fruit? that does it to me
