Jenifae's Raw Journey

Further Observations - after adding fat back in:

Rate this Entry
Well, after 6 days with Virtually no fat last night I ate 1 1/2 cups of Crusty Cauliflower which has alot of nuts in it.

So, this morning:

* I wake up to my Vaginal Yeast Discharge. It was virtually gone. (I like that word today) :)

* I feel full. I'm not hungry even this morning.

* My energy is more sluggish but, not gone.

* I slept harder.

So, I really do feel that Fat is more the culprit to my yeast problem then Fruit Sugar. I know the "General Philosophy" is that "Sugar feeds Fat". But, here's my experience. I did the "Traditional Candida Diet" and all I could do was 2 weeks. I was dehydrated, no energy, and in general it was a huge struggle. Never did my discharge even decrease. In this diet you are allowed fat and I ate it. But, the lack of fruit left me with the above symptoms. After doing only 6 days of only "Coconut Water and Meat" as Fat my discharge was almost completely gone. So, in my "Scientific Investigation": using myself as the ginea pig. I conclude that Fat is the Culprit. I listened to an Interview with Gerson from the Gerson Institute by Kevin Gianni and she said that removing Fat was the Cure to Cancer and the only Fat that didnt' retrigger it was Flax Oil. Interesting.

Thought I'd share my experience so, maybe that will help others do their own experienmenting with their bodies. :)

    Interesting. I wonder what she bases her data on. I'll have to look up that interview. I haven't been keeping up with Kevin's or Paul's shows lately. Saving them for a rainy day. :)

    Rawchic, I'm glad to hear you have the same sense on that and yes, now the challenge is keeping it as a lifetime - lifechange! ;)

    Melissa, He is - isn't he? :)

    Knitster, Her Father who was a Doctor and Scientist studied Cancer and worked with Cancer patients in Mexico and then America, too. He did alot of studies on these patients and as a result from his learning he has cured thousands at least of cancer and now his legacy lives on through the institute. I wonder if Kevin put the Fat concept together with Candida. He believes Sugar feeds it. That was my understanding, too. But, my experience is FAT. Maybe, I"m wrong and I will switch.

    Thanks so much for sharing your experience. In all my years of dabbling in raw food nutrition I've never even considered fat to be a candida culprit. Interesting cuz I did the juice feast and my candida issues completely cleared up. I did a lot of fruit juices and a green juice everyday. I did very little oil. Hmmmm, I definately need to look into this a bit more. Thanks again!

    Hi Gwena,

    Thanks for your visit. How long did you do your juice feast for?
