Day 2 of Week 1 (12/15/2008)

Rate this Entry
Shoot! I accidently deleted my day 2! Here it is again . . .

This morning I had a root canal! OUCH! At least the pain isn't too bad, thank God! I certainly didn't want to take any of the pain medication the doctor prescribed. The novacaine was enough toxin in my body today!

I was sleepy so I took an afternoon nap. I took the day off as much as possible to rest after all the 'abuse.'

Today's conditions and symptoms:

Left ear has some fluid in it
Eyes tired
Slight sinus headache
Sore muscles and joints
Soreness and tenderness in the pancreas area
Lower back pain - low grade
Tired legs from walking in the snow to the doctor office.

I may be tired today, but I'm still upbeat and looking forward to continuing my raw transition.

What did I eat today?

Paranil and Colon Cleanse
Water
Date Nut Torte (yep, I had one for breakfast)
Juice (made fresh in my juicer)
Fettuccini Alfredo
Salad with Alissa's dressing
Pad Thai
Nuts, celery and zucchini for snacking

I only got 6 out of 8 glasses of water down today. I must work on this! It's not that I hate water, because I like it. It's just that I get so preoccupied at doing other things that I forget to keep drinking. Hopefully, I'll be better tomorrow.

On to day 3 . . .

Celery has lots of water, fruits and veggies contain it naturally so if you are eating those you are still giving your body water.

You are doing really great. Keep up the great work.

I know what you mean about the water. I like to drink it 30 minutes before or 3 hours after a meal. To fit 2 quarts into the day I have to drink a pint, 4 times a day. Sometimes I forget that last pint. I do think I feel better when I drink it all.

    Keep up the good work!

Thank goodness the snow is finally starting to melt! :)
