The Best Green Smoothie EVER!

I just made the BEST Green Smoothie EVER!

So, far I am having a Very Good Day!

I had a small Cantelope for Breakfast at 10am.

Then, I worked out. Then, I did my Horse Chores and Trimmed Miss Bridget's Back Feet. (That's a Work OUt)

For Lunch at 3pm I just made the Best Green Smoothie I've ever ever made. WOW! and had some additional Strawberries.

Okay okay - I'll tell ya.

It was:

1 cup of Coconut Water
1 basket of Strawberries
1 large Banana
1/2 the meat the Coconut
Big Handful of Spinach
Handful of Red Chard

OMG! Yummers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll have to make that one again.

I'll keep ya posted about the rest of today.

I went to my clients and felt hungry but, I didn't stop and eat. I drank water and tea.

Afterwards I went to the store for greens. I got coconuts, spinach, red chard, apples, mangos, grapes.

I got a dish of fresh fruit; pineapple, watermelon, strawberries, cantelope and a plum. I ate it all on the way home at 8pm. Along with some dried fruit and had a few pieces. I know........I shouldn't have done that.

But, No nuts - No fat! :)

So, I got home and ate a few strawberries and an apple.

Is that too much Fruit? Tomorrow I want to work on mostly Green Smoothies and less fruit in between and less eating/chewing.

    I was licking my lips and DROOLING over your smoothie!!! I'm starting 2 smoothies a day==starting tomorrow! I'm doing it with a friend of mine who also posts here... I'm SO excited!!!!

    I can't wait to tell you some of the neat stuff I learned tonight from Victoria Boutenko. She does not think sugar causes Candida. Bottom line is drink green smoothies made of 60% fruit, 40% greens. Eliminate ALL FATS for 7 days. No more candida. It's all about the liver. A SHORT period of no fats (or other toxins) allows the liver to heal. Sounds to easy doesn't it? One week of NO fat compared to Gabriel Cousens 6 month low sugar plan. I'm on board for the 7 day plan. :) More later...

    I think you did great today. And the smoothie looks delicious. :)

    Thanks for posting this about the the amount of fruit. Sometimes I think about that when I make my GS, because I usually put in a banana plus another fruit and sometimes coconut oil and maybe a little cacao, if I'm in the mood for something chocolatey.

    Knitster Yes, I"ve been reading Dr. Graham's 8-10-10 book and alot from Frederic Patenaude and they both say that it is a Raw Food - Low Fat diet that heals our body and optimumally 10% fat a day would be best but, no more then 20%. When I was calculating on fitday - I was normally eating about 50% fat a day at least. WOW! :EEK:

    All this said: I've been really paying attention to my bodies responses and it does seem that when I eat more fat I have more symptoms and when I combine the too I get really bad yeast infections. I've had one for a week now and just from yesterday having no fat it's virtually gone this morning. So, I think they are on to something. I even saw an interview with Gerson and they say cancer is caused from fat and healing it - you remove it. HUH? I much more like that then restricting myself with Dr. Cousen's diet. I couldn't do it for more then 2 weeks and I was dehydrated.

    However, I do feel like I"m detoxing the fat and I am craving it badly. My head feels weird and my mind is telling me I need nuts. Ha!

    Here's another weird thing. I had 4 eliminations this morning and lost 3 lbs from it. WOW! Sorry, too much info? hehehe

    Rawlight That isnt' much fruit compared to what I put in. Hehehe!

    I am so glad you are using the young coconuts- aren't they delish. I try and drink one every day :-)

    If you look at my other posts. I posted doing Frederic Patenaudes Cleanses.

    1. Green Smoothies and Fruit inbetween. If or when needed for 3-7 days

    2. Mono Fruits Meals for 3-7 days.

    3. Fruit and Veggies only.......no fats including oils for 3-7 days.

    I'm trying to do all 3 for 3 days each. But, we'll see. May do one or the other for longer.
