Gooood Juice!

I juiced celery, a little apple and then threw in a handful of grape tomatoes just now. Oh boy, what a revelation! Those tomatoes were delicious. I laugh at my self sometimes, because I am often a timid experimenter with raw food. When I woke up this morning I thought about apple and celery, which is what I've done in the past and that I threw caution to the wind when I spied the grape tomatoes sitting there and used them without hesitation makes me so happy. I know, a little thing, but in my world, huge

Reminds me of kale. I always thought I didn't like it, because I only remember eating it when my mom fixed it and it always tasted so bitter to me. Kale was right up there with liver in my book...ewww, how could anyone eat it.

Then, I saw a beautiful kale salad at Whole Foods. For some reason, I was drawn to it, drawn to wanting to try it, even though it was full of, well, kale! I looked at the ingredients listed and realized I could make it myself. I bought my first bunch of kale and have never looked back. Kale is now one of my staples. I realized it was cooked kale I didn't like, raw kale is an entirely different food-lol

And I am branching out even more. Today when I go shopping, I am going to try a different type of kale, instead of the curly kale I buy all the time!! Haha, look at what raw food is doing to me....making me take risks. I mean, if I can try a different type of kale, what, other new things can I do? ;)

I have been juicing all week and loving it - not so much loving cleaning the juicer but oh well.

My favorite kale is Dinosaur - to me it seems more delicate and light.

I am going to try your juice for my dinner tonight
