I now wish my home was New York City! Great trip. Wonderful sites, walk, walk, walk. Food, incredible. People, wonderful. I would like to live in Central Park to be more precise.....!

I feel so good and rested. It's was a nice idea to get away as I am in several transitions in various parts of my life, or at the contemplating a transition stage. Perspective is everything and getting away gave me some greatly needed emotional (and physical) distance.

I hope everyone's happy and well. I have been gone for two weeks so it will take me time to catch up.

    Hey Rawlight,

    WELCOME BACK!

It's good to see you. :) I'm glad you had a nice time. I would love to go there. How Fun! Distance away can help with being able to look at things differently and get a new perspective on things - for sure! I'm sure you feel relieved or at least more at Peace. You sure sound it. :)

I had an amazing time in DC, too, but the stay in NYC was the topper, besides the few days I spent with my friends in upstate NY. I got a great room through hotels.com, so the nights were fine, too. I walked, pondered, read a little and wrote a lot.

Funny, "everyone" says New York is so expensive, but it really depends on what you want and do. Food is really cheap if you buy a lot of it in grocery stores and salad bars. I ate well and healthy on minimal amounts of money.
I hope to go back in the Fall and then I will try more raw restaurants.

I hope you've been good to yourself while I was gone?!!

I will check out your blog later, I've been working all morning and haven't gotten around it, yet.

You sure can find deals if you're looking, eh? :) That's great!

I havent' blogged in awhile. I'm struggling to be honest. We are having hard times financially and I've been coping with food. So, I'm not happy with myself or my weight and the more I focus and worry about it the more I am unable to get under control. Ack!
