A Good Day

Today went good. I ate about four oranges and made some more of my tomato/red pepper juice. I Love that stuff! Then tonight I had about a handful of cashews. I really was wanting some nuts but I could not eat that many. My jaw hurt so much just chewing them! I am not used to chewing like that since I fasted for so long. It really hurt and so I stopped. Funny that cashews are soft too, but man was that ouchy. My jaw still hurts an hour later.
So then I made some banana ice cream and topped it with some chocolate sauce made from macadamia nut butter/agave/and raw cacao. It was good, very rich and I couldn't finish the whole thing, but it was good.
I forgot to take my mangoes out of the freezer to thaw and make some dressing, but I am thinking that maybe a salad would be tough to eat right now. Lots of chewing. So I will bide my time and wait for my avocadoes to ripen so I can make some gaucamole. Mmmmmm. I might do a green smoothie for dinner tomorrow. Maybe. Hubby got me some baby spinach, but I don't know if I can chew it right now. I can't beleive how much my jaw hurts! Maybe I can try a blended salad? I've never done that before but since I love that savory tomato/red pepper juice maybe I will enjoy it. It's worth as try.

In other news I found a nice real estate agent to work with today. I talked to so many but finally found one that I liked who seemed real and honest. Yay! So we move forward.

Tomorrow I have an appointment with a local midwife. I think they are going to do some bloodwork and just make sure that everything is ok and that my hormone levels are what they should be. Just to give me some peace of mind. I am looking forward to it and hopeful that everything is good.

Oh, AND, someone on here gave me a great idea for a name. I love Ava. It is so classic, elegant, romantic and old fashoined. I just love it. So I am pusing hubby to go with that name if we have a girl. Ava Grace. I like that! Who is it that has an Ava? Where did I hear that? Anyone?!

Ava is the name of Contessa20's cousin's baby :)

I wonder how long it will take your jaw to recover. A blended salad/soup sounds like a good idea.

Yay for finding a real estate agent and a mid wife!!! Things are definitely starting to turn in your favor. Good for you for sticking through the rough days :)

Thank you so much Rawchic! Thats where I heard it. Such a pretty name.

The midwife I found is actually here. There are lots of them here and this one is not a homebirth midwife, just one at the hospital. But since I will not be delivering here it doesn't really matter. I will have to find another midwife, a home birth midwife, once we move. I found out that it is in fact illegal for a midwife to attend a pregnant woman for a home birth in Illinois. So they have underground midwives who risk prosecution to assist women at their homes in childbirth. I will need to locate one of them to hire when we move.
