... I caved. What else did I expect? To stay 100% raw forever? A little tiny bit of myself was hoping I would, but yeah ....

My husband (who's on this raw adventure with me) went shopping for his very SAD stepson today and brought home my alltime favorite frozen pizza from Trader Joes! I couldn't believe my eyes!

First I got mad at my husband, because he should know better, and his "Well, Nathan (his son) wanted pizza", didn't sit well with me. What am I chopped liver?

My husband's always so wonderful and thoughtful, and has been my raw buddy this past month. We both went 100% raw, and 2 days ago celebrated our 4 week being 100% raw and now this. Blargh, not sure who I"m upset at

So anyways, everybody went to bed, and I already knew I was going to have one of those pizzas. And I did, and it was good. Not like some of the times, when you go "This really wasn't as good as I remember", nope, it really was that good.

So now I am kind of worried what tomorrow will bring, because I really want to stay 100% raw ..... forever!

Will I start becoming weaker and weaker again, until I"m back to where I started? I so don't want to!

    That's a scary place you are in. I know when I have had that non-raw thing I like - it has started me on a binge. But, "not always." So, maybe this will be your "not always."

    I'm glad to hear you are not doing the guilt thing. Screw Guilt! As they they say. There's no point in it. David Wolfe and other Raw Food Guru's I've heard say "Whatever you eat...enjoy it and love it" If you enjoy it and Love it you don't turn it into a Bad thing and you can just keep moving forward with RAW! :)

    I am sorry that you are struggling. Sometimes saying forever can be very difficult. Just because you caved in to the pizza does not doom you to failure. Eat raw today and move past it. And ask hubby not to bring trigger foods like that into the house until you feel stronger and able to handle it. I know how hard it is. I am surrounded by SAD foods all day every day. No one eats raw in my family except me. So that is 7 other people chowing down on SAD all the time and the temptation is all around me.
    It is wonderful that your hubby went raw with you. How amazing! Your going to be ok. Just start over today and don't dwell on the pizza incident.

    big hug to you! have a big green smoothie or something else really yummy & raw and you'll feel better :)
    don't feel bad - we've all been there! The best thing you can do is have a short term memory...forget about yesterday and move on to living raw today.
