2nd Day of Preparation........

I guess I am okay but, not feeling as strong as yesterday.

So, this morning I worked out for an 1 1/2 hours of 45min cardio/weights, 30min abs, & 15min WBVM.

I really got hungry after doing the "Horse Chores" and took a shower and then talked to myself first before mindlessly eating and was going to journal but, didn't get to that. Ha! Of course, right? I really think it's because, I am weighing in so high for me. I haven't been this high in my weight since, I've been with Brian. Which we've been together for 7 years now. I feel like a Whale!
I know I am not..........but, I still feel that way, uuuuuuuuugh! Anyhow, I"m pretty sure that's what's going on. I'm trying to do affirmations and positive self-talk. I was going to work with horses today before I had to leave for my meeting but, I think I'm gonna take a nap!


Food (so far) Today:

Breakfast: 1 Banana

Lunch: Cabbage Salad w/Cashew Dressing & Beet, Carrot, & Celery Juice, and quite a few of the those Incredible "Chessy Kale Chips" I made. OMG!
They are Freakin' Good! Yuuuuuuummmy!

That seems like so much..........eeeks!
Oh, and I ate a whole lemon........put a 1/4 of it in water and just ate the other 3/4! Wow!

So, tonite I am going to my Meeting and getting my last chip and cake. Hopefully, my girlfriend is getting me Fruit Salad instead. LOL! If there is cake I'm not eating it.

I'm drinking more water and lemon water. I've had about 4 - 16oz glasses.

For Dinner I don't know what I'll do yet. Maybe I'll make a GS or a small salad to go.


Updating to Add my Dinner:

Dinner: Green Smoothie: Orange Juice, Raspberries, Strawberries, Banana, Spinach, Spiriluna and 1 handful of Sprouted Sunflower seeds.

I think I did good today.

So, I thought I would put my stats down.

Yesterday:

Weight: 133lb
Blood Pressure: 125/79
Pulse: 68

I also did my measurements but, wont be listing that but, will state any inch loss.

Today:

Weight: 132lb
Blood Pressure: 125/79
(which is actually high for me, normally 110/64)
Pulse: 64
(which is actually low for me. Normally, 70)

    Kale chips are yummy-last time I made 2 heads and eat them all in the same day.

    Just so NO to cake - binge eating for me before a fast makes the detox and fasting even tougher.

    I made 2 heads too! I think I ate maybe 1/2 of one? Hehehe!

    Yea, I ain't eatin' no dang Cake. I already feel like a Whale - I don't wanna feel worse then that! Plus, I am on a mission with changing my behavior with food. I am Determined. I'm sticking to my plan and not giving in. ;)

    The mindful eating is hard to do. I had to continually pull myself back to the food. The mediation cd I listened to today talked about pulling your mind back to focus repeatedly at first, over time it will become easier to stay focused. I had to clear everything (shopping list, books, etc.) off of the table because my mind kept trying to go anywhere but on the food. It's going to take some practice. :)

    Congratulations on your chip. THAT is a big deal. What a nice milestone to start off our little fast/feast days. :)

    Awwwwwwwwh, Thanks Knitster :).

    Yes, Mindful eating is taking alot more concentration then I realized. Hubby and I are fast eaters. And if I say that he'll say "I"m not a fast eater" He's so funny. Just like a kid. He rebells things I say even if they are truth. LOL!

    No matter..........he can eat fast. I am continueing my journing of connecting within and bringing food back into it's proper place........which is fuel for my body. I am continueing to learn to Love my Food and Myself. :)

    hope you had a delicious fruit salad at your meeting. congrats on the major accomplishment of your chip! not having cake sounds like the perfect way to celebrate :)

    Yes, I did NOT HAVE CAKE! I got myself a Green Smoothie ahead of time at Sprouts Natural Market and a Quart of Juice (Carrot, beet, celery, & spinach). So, the Green Smoothie kept me good.
    The juice is so yummy!
    I LOVE MY CHESSY KALE CHIPS!
