Preping for a weekend away
This weekend is my first event of the year, a big, no huge, convention over 3 days. On my feet from sun up to past midnight most of the time, dealing with customers & products & socializing in between. Tons of fun.
So I'm going into this prepared. I can't afford to feel crappy while doing this event. I'm bringing most of my own food. My big concern is getting hungry while working & not having the time to properly eat.
So far I'm taking
3 avocado's
6 apples
several sliced oranges
2 bins of "salad" (lettuce, spinach & sprouts)
my own salad dressing
sliced red peppers
bRAWnies (personal bribe ;) )
2 liters of carrot juice
a chopped pineapple
tea bags
2 raw bars JIC
a little bag of almonds
It doesn't seem like enough, but I've been eating so little again lately. I'm just not hungry which won't be a bad thing when I don't also have the time to eat. I'm trying to stick to things that can be eaten without tools, don't need to be refriged & don't take up a lot of space.
