Raw - Day 2
I'm sitting here munching on a bowl of chopped up mangos, pears and bananas with a mint, basil and almond milk cream sauce. Also pecans and a sprinkling of raw wheat germ for garnish. I'm amazed at how nourished I feel-- especially since quitting cooked foods and meat/animal products cold turkey!
Today I've barely felt thirsty. Usually I'm in a constant state of thirst. I used to ignore it, in the last month or so I've been drinking water like crazy. I've also felt satisfied most of the day!
Here's what I ate
1 red pear
1 bartlett pear
16 oz almond milk
1/2 cup pecans
3 cloves of garlic
Also, after yesterday's first raw day, I woke up 3 lbs lighter. Perhaps it was because of my complete lack of salt intake yesterday.
It's all very exciting though. It's early, but I haven't thought once about eating regular food... even with a cabinet full of pastas and cheese in the fridge. This is great
Here's an approximate before picture. I'm probably 4 lbs heavier. I've been happy for years now, so unfortunately I don't have any frowny pictures.
