Rejection of cooked food...
So today I strayed during lunch time from my spinach salad & avocado. Instead my friend & I went for sushi. I had such a craving for it at the mention of the idea when first proposed that I thought it wouldn't be too much of a shock on my system. Wrong!
Keep in mind that since Jan 6th, the only "cooked" foods I've eaten are either soups, or sprouted rye toast. Clearly not any white simple carbs as in the rice that were in the sushi rolls.
Eating them I felt ok, they did taste yummy and chewing something different than greens felt alright, strange, but alright. I was very mindful to chew each bite as much as I could to aid in digestion.
I stopped when I began to feel satisfied. Felt alright, minus the guilt I had for eating fish/shrimp/rice. I headed back to work and about an hour later began sneezing frantically, then began sweating as if I were coming down with flu, felt like my body couldn't regulate it's temperature. Head felt achy like a sinus infection, and then my tummy began to feel bloated. By the time I left work I thought I must be coming down with something? But couldnt' deny that it correlated to eating the sushi for lunch *sigh*.
Was about half way home & had to have a BM, prayed to make it home in time, which fortunately I did. I'd say it was a max of 4 hours from the time I had eaten the sushi at lunch to the time I left work.
