I can safely say that I have an issue with excess. I want to learn more, do more, be more.. If I do something I want to be the best at it. Unfortunately this little habit crept into my emotional need to self destruct and well.. all I can say is I did a bang up job of that too.
I feel like I wasted my 20's. I didn't go to college, didn't party, didn't sow my oats, didn't take advantage of my flat stomach and northernly boobage. I got married and had two children and allowed myself to hit 260 pounds which I have successfully maintained. Wow, sometimes success isn't a good thing? But with that said, my life has been a good one. I love my family, my pets, and now, I love myself. I am moving onward and upward and becoming all I know I am capable of, maybe even more.
Todays stats..
-*- 33 years old.
-*- Two children struggling with autism but showing the world how wonderful and perfect they really are.
-*- 265 pounds of "gee, she is so smart and beautiful, if only she would lose weight." (This, is about to vanish baby!)
-*- I just finished my AS/Pre-Nursing, and Monday I start at one of the best nursing schools in the state.
-*- Moving to Raw to change my life!!
I know I can do this. I know I can make all of my dreams come true. If I can manage college with two children and a deployed husband, I can make ME happen too.
My goal? I want to move from my SAD ways to high raw, moving to 100%. I am not sure how much time I will have since the BSN program will take my life for two years, but I would like to post my eats, good and bad, my physical transformation and my emotional healing. This is how I will be accountable, this is where I will document my real success. Becoming me.
Plan: I went shopping and got lots of good eats. I made my first batch of flax crackers today and whoa- talk about nummy. I whipped up some guac to go with it. I am so addicted to avocados LOL Tomorrow I am going to make some "bread" for my lunches. I sprouted "bread mix" and wheat berries and lentils as well.
I purchased a couple of bento/tiffin style lunch boxes. I am actually so dang excited about using these! It is an hour drive to school, so I will need to have all the fuel possible while there. These are way cool and I am working on putting together a lot of menu ideas for lunches. If you have ideas, let me know :) I want to post pics for other people who pack-it-raw.

Other than that... Here is what I ate today.
Breakfast: Apple, kiwi
Snack: almonds
Lunch: Sammy--EZ bread (I know not raw) tomato, sprouts, basil, raw cheese spread
Snack: flax crackers and fresh guac
Dinner: salad, and half seving of burrito hubby made for dinner. (I humored him LOL)
Admittingly, I felt great until dinner hahahaha But hubby is trying really hard to take over my job in the house since school is starting, and so I dibbed a little. He saw my mood change after dinner so maybe he will try eating more raw too? He is supportive of what I am doing, and I think in time he and the kids may take a walk on the raw side.
I am totally not creative- I might "steal" menu ideas from the forum for daily eats.
