Thankfully, I had taken the week off on leave for my first week of transformation! It gives me time to study Alissa's book and put together the recipes. I'm always much slower when I first try a new skill, but the second time around is much better. I'll be faster and more sure of myself when I tackle these recipes again. After all, this is my FIRST time ever going raw. It truly is a new lifestyle for me and I need to give myself time to change.
Yesterday's root canal is over and there is no longer any pain. I have more of a sense of purpose with my new raw adventure . . . the extra sleep helped immensely!
Today's conditions and symptoms:
Usual sinus drainage
Sore muscles and joints
Lower back pain - low grade
At least my broken ankle is feeling a little better!
I received my dehydrator yesterday in the mail, so I spent time setting it up and trying my hand at banana leather and flax seed crackers for tomorrow's snacks.
What did I eat today?
Paranil and Colon Cleanse
Lots of water
Apple juice (made fresh from my juicer)
Fettuccini Alfredo
Salad with Alissa's dressing
Mock Salmon Pate'
Nuts, tomato or celery for snacks
Banana Ice Cream (yes, I put peeled bananas in the freezer yesterday!) YUM!
I managed to get my 8 glasses of water today. This appears to be quite a challenge for me! It's not that I don't like water, I do. The problem is remembering to keep drinking when I get preoccupied with other things.
Overall, I still feel great about going raw and intend to continue . . . on to day 4.
