Day 1 of Week 1 (12/14/2008)

Watched the 3 hr. video of Alissa making entrees. Good visual to supplement the book. It helps when reading the recipes and trying to get it right. . . .

How do I feel today?

Very tired . . slept 12 hours last nite. With my Fibromyalgia, I'm feeling sore all over as usual. Some places more than others. Even my organs inside are sore! My attitude is upbeat, but not spectacular. I'm nursing a broken ankle for about 4 more weeks.

Today's conditions and symptoms:

Watery eyes
Sinus drainage
Discomfort in head, neck, shoulders
Carpal Tunnel continues to plague me and my hands start falling asleep when I use them
Mild gas in my digestive system
Skin very dry as usual

Today is the first day on the diet and I'm a bit overwhelmed. I'm going to be slow at making the foods until I get more confident that I know what I'm doing (I'm the analytical type normally). I like the way Alissa has laid out the first 30 days and eases you into more things each week.

What did I eat today?

Paranil and Colon Cleanse
Lots of water!
Fettuccini Alfredo
Salad
Alissa's dressing
Date Nut Torte (no, not the whole thing!)
Snacked on various vegetables and some fruits

I read a bit of Alissa's book. I don't have my dehydrator set up yet, and I can't wait. I need some variety in my snacks.

(On to day 2 in the morning after some sleepy time! Nite Nite.)

    You are doing great and you have a plan - that is a great way to succeed! Get as much rest as you can and lots of good clean water also helps to flush toxins away

    Just take the day as it comes. Stay in the present, not in the future. Learn, share and ask questions. Be willing to be confused, instead of thinking you have to be perfect. Have a great day!
