Dreading the Holiday food
Since I am not 100% raw (yet), I am dreading the holiday food. I don't really stuff myself through the holiday, but I do sample everything and my weakness is dressing and ham. I am already getting hungry thinking about it.
I did make a vegetable tray and a fruit tray and I plan on eating from those trays for the most part. :)
It is just HARD to be around that much food when everyone is digging in and having soooo much fun and you are there with your Salad.
I tell myself that It will be okay to dig in just once and with just one serving, but not eat days and days afterwards with leftovers. I will allow that much with Thanksgiving and Christmas, but I will have to stick with it or welcome those 15 pounds I lost back home again.
I hope that one day I will be 100% raw and I will learn to make Raw meals instead of just salads for the rest of my life. My problem with making Raw meals is that it is a pain in the butt to find all the ingredients and most of the time I can't afford the special ingredients they call for, Not for every single meal anyway. I go to the store every three days as it is now.
Any of you guys have these issues with the holidays and preparing those Raw meals? I am talking about the pizzas and stuff like that out of 100% raw stuff.
