it's snowing leaves!

the beautifully colored fall leaves are floating down from the tops of maple trees everywhere
making it like a fairy land of golden, orange and red floating to the ground

landing almost silently in the deep bed of leaves already there.

we had our first real killing frost today...
29 degrees at 7:30 am (must have been colder in the pre-dawn hours.)
and only the heartiest sort have survived it.




of course the apples are rolling in
so i made a new recipe for the book
harvest apple crisp
mmmmmm




well off i go to get things done
have a rawkin day all!

    Aww! It's gorgeous! <333 I miss heaps of leaves like that...and raking them up...D8 Aaand, that dish? It looks wonderful.

    thanks all :) i will be publishing the apple crisp recipe in my book. i have been trying to get that book done and by crackie i will, just later than anticipated.. i will announce it when i do. thanks again for your support.
