Day 2

Rate this Entry
Wow! I did it! I was 100% raw yesterday. I had a really nice juicy plum for breakfast. I snacked on goji berries and raw pumpkin seeds throughout the day. For lunch I had a salad with avo and hemp seed nuts and a shot of extremely hot....and I mean HOT raw salsa. It really hit the spot. I sipped it over about 30 minutes, but I really enjoyed it. Dinner time is always my hardest because I have to cook for the husband and kids. I made them tacos with the vegan meat and spanish rice. For myself I made a thai curry soup that was really nice. I wanted it to be hot, but I sipped it cold. I also had a salad with avo. Oh and I also tried to make ice cream with a frozen banana in the juicer. I think you really need a champion juicer for that because my krups did not really do the job. It wouldnt come out of the juicer, so silly me, took it apart and ate it from the inside of the juicer. I was amazed that it really did taste like ice cream!! For today, I have had an orange but I made Alyssa's eggplant pizza. It is in the dehydrator doing it's thang until about 6pm tonight. So, I get to have pizza for dinner. I have wheat berries that I am trying to sprout so I can experiment with other things. I feel good. Even though I have not been perfect the last month or so, I am still at the same weight....341. I am ready to see this stuff melt off of me.

Cold soup is considered a delicacy in many countries, even in some "fancy" restaurants here in the states... ;)

That is a little fact that my df (dear fiance ;) ) told me last night when I served him my new favorite DELICIOUS cold raw tomato soup...

So... think of what a FANCY diner you are eating your fabulous thai curry soup!!!

    Rawk on!!
