Gravitating Back to Raw!

Well, my detour was not so pleasant. Didn't find much that I liked. My body was just wanting more calories and adding in some cooked just didn't work. There is just not much in the cooked world after you have been raw. I'm just trying to add in more green smoothies and juices. Never stopped but I need to stay on top of it. If I don't stay on top of it, I find myself only drinking one a day and that's not enough for me. I juiced some carrots, apple, beets, romaine last night and it hit the spot-I did eat a order of Mexican food.Wasn't hungry later. I am craving more raw foods and that's a good sign. Been craving the taco meat this time-maybe I'll try grinding the nuts more and warming it in the dehydrator some. Put it on a few chips along w/ some lettuce, hummus, salsa, sour cream and it sounds pretty tasty. I have found a raw sour cream recipe-don't know how it tastes. I just can't eat nuts by the handfuls-they just don't break down even soaked. They just pass right through. I can eat them ground up in a dip or dressing. I usually only eat cashews and walnuts. Walnuts are my favorite. Just finished making my hubby a washtub of chilli and the meat just looks gross. He's got a lot to eat. I might like some raw chilli w/ cashew sourcream and chips. Well-The cleansing, juicing and resting thingy just didn't work. Maybe I'll try to gradually incorporate this instead of trying to tackle this all at once. We just finished a 2,000 mile trip to Ohio(My husband does some driving for the Amish) Sometimes I go along. Weeeellllll-Maybe I should have stayed at home.
Lots of baaad food and very little sleep. So I'm trying to catch up this week. Been late sleeping for about a week. Just almost did me in. Too stressful. I think I'm just going to stay at home. I've been checking out the glycemic index of some fruits and may add these back into my diet. Exciting- I was eating way too much sugar-fruit in my smoothies, snacking on bananas and then fruit salads w/raisins, honey and chocolate.
No wonder I had candida problems. I've picked out apples, oranges, grapefruits and berries are okay. They are pretty low. I just can't double or triple the fruit in my smoothies. OOOHHH! The phone just rang for another trip to Ohio.
May sit this one out. Out of my hormone capsules and I've been a handful so I may just stay at home. I had a double whammy yesterday with the Kangen water and the probiotics. You are not supposed to take meds with the 9.5 because it takes the meds straight into the cells too quick. I took some supplements and my probiotics with it and OMGOSH! I had a reaction. My skin started tingling and I felt hot. It felt like someone was poking little needles all over me. My heart started racing and my stomach hurt really bad.
Just went in too quick that's all. Didn't do that again. Did 7.0 this morning. I've got errands to run this morning and I'm off. BTW-I used too many little icons-Do they run out???
