Nama Shoyu?

Rate this Entry
I couldn't find Nama Shoyu at the Whole Foods so I got San-J's Organic Shoyu. Is "Nama" a name brand? ... is what I got a good substitute?

I'm completely new at this ... I'm even new at blogging ... I hope I can figure out how to read the responses to this. Help!

Nama means unpasteurized, shoyu is soy sauce. In my --I guess limited-- experience with soy sauce, I think nama shoyu tastes fantastic--better than the other soy sauces I usually buy. I think your organic brand is okay, since neither is raw, anyway. Some raw foodists allow "living" foods in their diets--fermented foods, nutritional yeast, nama shoyu, etc.
