Day 12 - need to shop!
Ok, so I'm out of avocadoes, bananas, grapes, strawberries, red bell pepper mejool dates AND cashews - probably because these are my favorite raw treats and I'm being tested by the cooked food devil! Ha... And did I pass?
I had a bowl of organic honey nut O's w/ rice milk for breakfast and some sauteed snap peas, broccoli and onion on cooked rice for dinner. I had a big salad for lunch - totally raw, just w/out avo so not very good IMO and my snacks were both almonds and neglet dates. So, today I guess you could just call me vegan. :) The temptation was there to just go crazy and eat cookies and other vegan but refined foods and I resisted that - so yay for me.
TOmorrow morning I am going to the grocery store and I will stock up on all my favorites. I feel ok today considering I ate cooked. My tongue hurt when I ate the dates - normally they don't bother me but I got 2 little bumps on it. Strange.
Still going strong even though today wasn't 100%. Like I've said, it's a journey...
