Poppin' Back In!

I haven't gone anywhere! Work has just been really, really busy & stressful and by the time I get home, I crash!

I brought some super blue green algae (tablets) the other day and started taking them. I normally don't take any supplements, but I haven't been eating alot of green veggies lately...

I've been reading up on green smoothies, but haven't made any recently.
I think what I'm going to do is to buy a Bullet and keep it at work.

I bought some chia this week, too. I have it soaking as we speak. Tomorrow morning, breakfast will be a smoothie with chia, almond milk, strawberries, raspberries, cocao nibs, a bit of cocoa powder, agave nector, and half of a banana.

Lunch will be a lettuce, tomato, bell pepper, cuccumber & carrot salad with a few raisins tossed in. I don't know what kind of dreeing I'll make, but something with lemon juice & agave in it.

That's about as far as I've gotten. Pretty basic, but my time is not my own right now and I'm really working to keep things quick & simple.

I've only lost 2 pounds, so I'm up to 15 Pounds lost, but I haven't gained a pound and I'm very happy about that. I'm concentrating more on getting healthier right about now than my health. I've started excercising, too. What a slow go....But slow & steady wins the race. My left leg still gives me trouble & I can't lift like I used to (fractured sternum from my accident - 4 years ago), but I'm getting stronger each day & that's what matters

Alissa's video and book helps me alot! If I'm ever not quite sure how to make something, I pop in her video and can watch her make it!. Plus she explains everything thoroughly!

I'm going to write more frequently about what I eat. I've said that before, but I'll make it a point to sign on, even if it's for just a moment & keep my blog up to date.

Until Tomorrow!:)

Keeping a little blender at work is a great idea! I keep olive oil, almond butter, tahini, sea salt, a small cutting board, knives, and a large salad bowl in one of my file cabinet drawers. I'm definitely going to think about adding a little blending appliance of some sort!
