no more "laws"

i think im learning a very important thing: to listen to my body. i have a penchant for trying to stick to generic diets/regimens/ways of viewing food that in reality don't quite fit me exactly. i buy and consume food always with the thought in mind of whether or not what im consuming is with "the plan." but now, i just want to lose all of that. i want to eat based on intuition, based on my gut feeling. how will this food make me feel as im eating it? after im done eating it? how will this food make me feel down the road if i eat it regularly? following my intuition will make no food off limits but that being said ill be more likely to make healthy positive choices becase i will have a stronger connection with how my body works and what works well in it. if a food is making me feel good and healthy than im going to eat it, regardless of what some diet guru says. i was doing some reading on another forum about 811 eating and although im sure it can certainly work for some people, i dont think i should regiment myself like that. i believe whole fresh food from nature is good, and i will eat from the spectrum of nuts, seeds, avocados, greens, fruits as i feel is necessary. im not going to become a slave to a guru. im going to eat for health and my own peace of mind.

so basically no more slaving to the inivisible diet gods in the back of my mind. eat in the moment, eat what seems right, make the health and peace promoting choice.
