Frustrations

I am having a very stressful day! I cannot get my blood pressure down regardless of what I do and it is really frustrating! I quit taking my blood pressure medicine because I know that it was NOT doing me any good health-wise. I weaned myself off the pills and haven't taken any for almost two weeks. I do not have any physical reason for it to stay high!

I have lost almost 50 pounds since my stroke in June of last year and several dress sizes, and am eating a fantastic healthful diet with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, some nuts and occasionally something made with sprouted grains. An hour ago my blood pressure was 183/101 and a few days ago it was 160/98. I am doing everything that has been recommended to help from taking a herbal blood pressure pills, and EFT to trying intention but nothing has worked. I have done the research and am positive that using prescription drugs will be of no benefit. Unfortunately that is about the only option left. So, even knowing this I may be forced into taking those damn pills. My mind will not cooperate!

    I just did an interesting experiment. I listened to my special CD on stress reduction and took my blood pressure again after each time. The first time my BP was down from 183/101. The second reading was 163/87 and the third time it was 155/83! I had this CD before I had the stroke, but did not have a blood pressure cuff to test how well it worked. I had not used the CD since probably a few months before the stroke and never knew of any real drop in my blood pressure.
