Long time - no blog here!
Each day seems to blend into the next......![]()
I try to keep up with reading everyone's blog - but just haven't had time to write in mine.
There's really not too much going on out of the norm here anyways - just the usual - running around like a mad woman -![]()
I've been wanting to make something new & interesting, but that hasn't happened either.
I'm still mainly eating fresh summer fruits: watermelon, canteloupe, strawberries, grapes, avos, tomatos....
My morning "kitchen sink" smoothie - which includes: 1 scoop Raw Power Vanilla flavored protein shake, 1 T Rice protein powder, 1 T Chia Seeds, 1 T Almond or Cashew butter, 1 T Cacao Powder, 1 T Maca Powder, 2 T Raw agave nectar, 1/3 t MSM Powder, 1 t Vitamineral Green, 1 t Fo - Ti Powder, 1 t Pure Non Alcohol Vanilla extract & sometimes a banana or 2 if I have them......this drink can keep me going for quite a while without being hungry -Love it!
and....
Salads or Walnut "taco meat"......
I know, I know - boring!!
I am going to a RAW get together on Sunday with a couple friends - should be fun - I'm going to bring a couple batches of flax crackers - I'm thinking some pizza seasoning ones & some spicy jalepeno, chili - lime ones.

I went to the animal shelter with my sister today & because most of the kitties have "upper respiratory" colds going on - we were only aloud to visit one room - we chose to play with the kittens for an hour - awwwwwwww! They are so cute & 3 out of the 5 were cuddly/playful.
I really like going and bonding with the kitties & my sister at the same time![]()
I just finished the Renew Life 7 day Rapid Cleanse yesterday - what I noticed this last week - I wasn't as hungry & I may have released a couple #'s - not sure if there's any correlation or not.
Today I am going right into their Kidney Cleanse - I tried to do this at the beginning of the year, but ended up getting everyone's cold that was going around so I had only gotten a day or 2 into it & stopped so my body could fight off the cold without having to try detoxing at the same time.
I plan on going through their whole line - I really love the company & the cleanses are meant to be very gentle on your body - so you can go about your daily business.
Yesterday was the first day I exercised since last Thursday & I could really feel the difference in my body - very stiff & sore - plus I had been more tired the last couple days.
I still think it's weird that after only 1 month of incorporating exercise almost daily (I missed 7 days in July) - that my body "craves" it & I start to get anxious & crabby if I don't get to do it!![]()
NEVER thought I'd be back to that point - but I am SO glad I am!
Over the weekend I got 4 new workout dvds:
1 Leslie Sansone one with 5 workouts on 1 dvd - used it yesterday for the 1 mile beginner walk - 20 min.
1 - 10 Minute Solutions - Blast off Belly Fat - it has 5 - 10 minute workouts on it - haven't got to try it yet.
1 - Women's Health - Total Workout in 10 minutes - it has 4 - 10 minute workouts that can be combined or done seperately - haven't got to try yet.
1 - Prevention - Shortcuts to Big Weightloss - it has 3 - 10 minute workouts on it - haven't got to try yet.
Do you notice any theme here??.......![]()
I need short workouts to choose from - for days I am running thin on time - or don't have a lot of energy.....
I am still thinking about getting the Slim in 6 & Power 90....we'll see how I do with these latest purchases!
Well, I have to get in the shower to go teach my yoga class tonight.
I will have to catch up on everyone's blogs in the morning.
