Awesome Foods' Raw Nama Shoyu Onion Bread--
I wanted to see if I liked onion bread before I went to the time and trouble to make some. These have the same basic ingredients: onions, sunflower seeds, flax seeds, nama shoyu, olive oil, sesame seeds, parsley. I have to rate this bread on different aspects of it. The taste is excellent--oniony and rich. The texture is nice and chewy, BUT it is very oily. It leaves a film on my lips as though I had put on lip gloss! Kind of eew! It's so oily that I haven't been able to eat but a few bites of it. I definitely don't want to make a sandwich with it because that would entail double the oil! So, I can't recommend this product. (I hope the RAWvolution onion bread is not so oily.)
Blessings' Lucious Swirl Lemon cookies--
Another thumbs down. They sound good, only 4 ingredients: lemon, cashews, coconut, honey. But. The lemon flavor tastes extremely artificial and bitter (not lemon-sour, but chemical bitter). The cashew taste is way too strong.
I don't know if the fact that shipping was only available by ground might have affected either of these products, but it's a thought.
