Well, the CPR class went 4 hours, so needless to say I missed my favorite yoga class. Came home and scarfed down a huge delicious salad (baby romaine, spinach, red bell pepper, avocado, raisins YUM, red onion, carrots, olive oil, lime, sea salt, ground black pepper) and a huge glass of water. I was not prepared for 4 hours - had mis-read and thought we'd be there for maybe 2. So I was FAMISHED and literally dying of thirst... But, now I know that it's 30 compresions and 2 breaths. Did you know that? :)
Doing well today - however, I feel really hungry. My stomach has been growling all day - which is good b/c I was at a point in my life a while ago where I can honestly say I NEVER felt hungry (not b/c my appetite was small, but b/c I was constantly eating...). I had my usual fare today - bananas, cashews and dates, and guac and carrots for lunch. I eat the same things not b/c I have to, but it's b/c that is what I'm in the mood for! Dinner will probably be a big salad again. I just had a huge gala apple and it was delish. But, still growling. Maybe I should have a drink. Speaking of...
I need to drink more water. I guess I get busy in the day w/ the baby and she always manages to find my glass of water and spill it, so maybe that is why I subconsciously avoid water until about 3 pm when I'm parched... ;)
My hubby is doing great on raw too. Last night he was sleeping on his back and he didn't snore. That is awesome - for him and for me! We had some stormy weather and I had a hard time sleeping.
Anyway, I can't believe it's day 11 already. I see some people starting over - don't think I will even if I really mess up. I don't believe in starting over b/c it's discouraging - it woudl be like running a marathon and getting tired and slowing down and then, instead of just moving forward, stopping and goign back to the start line... So, I'll just keep plugging along realizing that if I take a bite of cookie or a sip of pasteurized juice (or a whole cooked meal for that matter), I will re-commit where I am, on day 11 or 25 or 1939 and just keep moving forward.
It's all about the big picture for me. 30 days to better health leads to a lifetime of better living!!
