Day 9 I Like Trying New Recipes
I had a good smoothie this morning. Yes I think I love the carrot drink.
Found 2 recipes for the eggplant from Alissa's book.
Can't wait to make them tomorrow.
Also will be making Cheddar Cheese Sause from Alissa's book and
probably will try the sauce from Morn. I REALLY hope they taste good.
Possibly the Butternut Squash Cookies from Victoria's children book too.
So that takes care of the eggplant and the BS, now need to look for Cabbage recipes. The zucchini and cucumbers I think I have in the frig can go to the birds or put in the smoothie.
Zukes and cucumbers are on sale this week. Maybe later I can get some recipes for them. Maybe make a nut pate for the lettuce I bought. Since I have too many desserts in the frig, I will not make any more until I eat them. It seems like since I don't like this batch that much, I'm not hungry for them thus I don't eat them up quickly. If I don't eat them they stay in the frig and I won't make anymore. Such a vicious circle. I found a way to eat the Dark Truffles I bought that taste ugh...poured agave on them. Yes! Very good. I see what I have in store when I make them myself.
I REALLY like uncooking. I have never cooked this much before on SAD diet. This much variety of dishes. Thank goodness we have so many good books and website recipes for Raw. It's so easy to adapt the dish to a personal preference. It's fun to try the different recipes. I am very lucky to be able to buy what I need and want at the moment (I should get on a budget though). One day it may not be. Then I know what I could do, with what I have. But right now, I need to try these new recipes while I am establishing new habits for a healthier body.
Unbelievable moment. I ate a half of zuchinni with one of my lunches this week. Did't know what to do with it so I ate it, as is. Amazing. It tasted good. I ate it plain. I am evolving.:)
