Fun, but Rocky vacation

I'm on week 7 now & the last two weeks have been pretty rocky with a lot of cooked food mixed in with my raw.

I went on vacation with my family (& hubby's family). I had more fun than in past years, but I also relaxed my attitude toward consuming only RAW. It's amazing to me how slippery that slope was and how quickly I have fallen back into old habits and cooked food that makes me feel yucky.

It's important to me not to be militant with myself and grit my teeth to get back to 100% RAW asap - otherwise I'll just feel deprived and risk more intense cooked food binges. So, I'm focusing on increasing the RAW food in my day and enjoying it thoroughly. Previously this has helped me with a very natural and easy transition into RAW as it felt just right.

In the mean time, I'm reading so many posts & reviewing lots of before/after pics to support my shift to RAW energy & RAW living.

Thank you everyone who contributes in this forum every day - I feel stronger, not alone, and well supported in taking care of myself the best I can each day on my RAWsome journey.

    Vacation is just a weird time! Try not to live the in the past, but focus on becoming who you want to be. Don't be surprised if 100% doesn't happen overnight--it's okay to transition, if need be!

    I definately tend toward the all or nothing & then rebel against it. So, I'm working at being compassionate with myself and being OK with transition. At the very least I feel less stressed and bad about myself and I figure that's the first step to being inspired to take better care of myself and increase the RAW.
