First day!

My first day (7/28/08) was ok. I did not plan what I was going to eat so I didn't eat as good as I would like. Apple, watermelon, blue chips, salsa, nuts water. I know I need a big salad but need to go to the store (with a list of course). My goal for the next 30 days is to eat fruit in the AM, green & nuts around noon, and greens & ezekial bread for dinner. Not too complex but I figure I could do this, hopefully without giving in to my sugar cravings. But there's always fruit, right.

    fruit and if you like dates... that can be a wonderful sweet treat! I've heard that some people stuff them with almond butter or actually stick an almond in the center.. or raw chocolate! yummm! ;) so far so good... you'll do just fine! and you're in an excellent place to get tons of support! RAWk on!

    2BRaw, your food sounds just great! You have done very well. Eating this way will make you feel so different - so vibrant. What are "blue chips"?

    Blue chips are like corn chips but instead of yellow corn it's blue corn baked. It's not a raw food of course but I think it's healthier than potato chips.

    That sounded like an excellent first day! Be easy with yourself in the beginning...being raw can be difficult at first and there's no such thing as a perfect way to do it. You've got lots of support here!
