Day 10 - I got the scale to work and...
I'm down 4 lbs since April 1st! Wow... I have been the same weight for about 11 months. I had a baby in Aug 2005, weighed 196 when she was born. I am 5'6". Lost down to 170 on my own, then joined Weight Watchers (still was doing SAD including meat then) and lost to 140. That was almost a year ago and have stayed right around 140 since. So this morning I pulled out my digital scale which has been acting up - not showing the numbers -maybe needs a new battery? and I stepped on and was 137.5. On April 1st I was 141.5! So, I went to Linen's and Things to use a scale and with my clothes on was 138... :) SWEEEEEEEET! Honestly I am not doing raw to lose weight, but Allisa says in her book that this lifestyle will allow you to lose your "false body."
Food today: probably the same as yesterday -
breakfast, 2 bananas
snack cashews and 2 m dates
lunch baby carrots in guacamole
snack small handful of almonds and 3 more dates (i am hooked on these amazing dates!!!).
dinner will be a big green/fruit smoothie after my CPR certification renewal class and hour of yoga.
I feel really good. Digestion is moving along -no one really talks about that, but I have never poo'd so much in my life!ha ha - sorry if TMI...

POST ENTRY NOTE: The UPS man just delivered Alissa's book! I had borrowed it from a friend and had to return it several weeks ago, so YAY now I have my own!!!! :) Now I just need to get a darn dehydrator so I can make all of her recipes.
