Where did I go?

LOL!

I signed up than just POOF! disappeared.

Well, we moved as I had originally stated, and are still putting stuff away. I am still plugging away at college classes while working full time. Divorce papers got signed by us, then when I looked at them realized they were wrong, so darn it, we are not yet officially divorced. Been dealing with lots of stress and having health issues. The last few months have been dealing with back pain from muscles in spasm (um, duh, my back is carrying around an extra person in weight here), I am tired like ALL THE FREAKIN TIME, and have started having water retention by mid day in my feet, ankles, and calves. I went to the doctor finally and she gave me muscle relaxers (yea.. not!) and 800mg motrin (yea, that'll make ya retain water too), and a prescription for thoes special sox to wear that will help push the fluid back up from your ankles, etc and back through your body. You know, like your grandparents prolly wear! omg was all I could think. The doctor also said I need to exercise every day and that will help with the fluid (since I have a sit on my ass job all day)....

My daughter, who is 11 and has always been so slim and trim, now has a GUT that I was even shocked at. And my son, the same age, he is fighting a weight issue. And who's fault is that? Mine. I buy the food, I have us living the fast life of mickey d's.

No more.

Had a long talk with the kids the other night and told them our lives are about to change. I do not plan to make them raw (yet) but told them from now on our menus will be made out and put on the fridge each day and there will be no deviation from it. There will be no more fast food and no more junk food in the house. And that we are all going to be working through a wonderful self esteem work book I have ordered through a Dr. Smoot.

Yes, things are going to change for all of us.

My 30 day raw challenge starts July 27 so I am a little early for August but who cares. I need to detox and get this fluid out of my body. Lots of water and a fruit, veg, and juice detox for a while. Maybe a long while, for me.

I shall need your encouragement. At 37 years old, I really feel this is a matter of life or death for my health.

Thanks for reading!

I'm in the same situation. I've got health problems and had to go raw. It makes it easier for me to stay raw knowing that if I go back I could die. I don't feel deprived. My body loves raw! Stick w/ it. I'm about to finish my first 30 days and I've seen a total transformation. Good luck in your journey.

I have a gorgeous daughter, age 27, who suffers from digestive problems and miserable periods. I am trying to help her by setting the example. I don't see her often as she lives in another city, but when she sees me next she is in for a shock. She was worried about my health as I am 62. I just know she will be very curious about what I have done for myself. I won't even speak about it until she is ready. Aren't our children blessed to have such loving mums?!!:)
