This is weird...I was at Whole Foods today and as I walked into the oils sections (musing about coconut oil/butter), I noticed a foul smell. My immediate thought was that some poor soul had thrown up in the store. I looked up and down and behold, there was a table at the end of the aisle with a huge block of parmegiano-reggiano cheese with some smaller hunks to the side, all shrink-wrapped. I thought, "well, it can't be that, I like cheese." I went over and gave it little sniff, thru the wrapper, and uh, yes it was. Through the wrapper. It smelled horrible. I mean, it didn't smell like it had gone bad. It smelled like cheese. It just smelled horrible to me. I do not know what happened to this cheese fanatic (holds hand up) but I guess it is happening!

Love the comment about having breakfast with your dear daddy. How wonderful for you both to do that. As for our sense of smell changing - how true. I really notice that canned fish STINKS - eew! I don't like it at all now. It smells rotten.
