I am disappointed

Rate this Entry
So, I went home for Easter this weekend, as I always do, and of course their was all this cooked food around. Well, I ate a bunch of popcorn and some rolls and steamed asparagus. I feel so yucky now. I am so congested and stuffed up. Today I am starting over, and completely dedicated to stick with it for the rest of April.

On a better note, my cousin wants to try eating raw to lose some weight. I think that he just wants to get into it short term, but Iam hoping that once he realizes how good it is for the body, he will stick with it long term. I'll let ya know.

Magglepie, I'm rooting for you. However, each day is a new day to make good food choices. Don't beat yourself up. Sounds like you're doing just fine.

Even though you are disappointed - think of what you ate - "asparagus, some rolls, some popcorn" - now contrast that to what you might have eaten if you were still on a SAD... tons of chocolate, too much ham, too much alcohol, etc etc etc... Now how do you feel? :) Hopefully a little better. I was beating myself up over a cup of decaf w/ milk and my husband gave me a little reality check...

Thanks girls! I am glad to be part of such a great supportive community. You are right Gwena, each day is a new day. I just need to remember that I am making an effort towards changing a lot of food habits, and it takes time.

Don't be hard on yourself. And, realize that you can only control you and other people. Take one day at a time and don't look too much into tomorrow.

I am about 34 days raw. I am currenly on Oxygen. I have lost 26lbs and can go a short distance without my oxygen within one and a half weeks.

Every week I have about 2 cups of Vegan collards greens. This is not good. But, I want them and I eat them and maybe the day will come and I won't purchase them from my favorite vegan restaurant.
