1st Challenge July 1 to 30, 2008
Today begins my first challenge for 30-Days 100% RAW.
My meal plan for today which I will use for the week with variations is:
Breakfast: Green smoothies (greens= parsley & cilantro)
Snack: Fruit (chopped canteloupe & orange slices -shared with 20mth old daughter)
Lunch: Raw Tacos or Alissa's Enchiladas chose Raw Tacos using collard greens, lettuce, onions, mushrooms, carrots and my version of Raw minced un-chicken salad (which also looked like a SAD minced seafood salad)
Dinner: Salad w/ raw dressing - had instead Raw corn tortilla (enchilada) with marinated button mushrooms and veggies
Snack: Raw Dessert (banana sorbet) -had a raw apple pie dessert
Usually each meal is so filling that I barely make it through the meal plan. But I will attempt to stick to this, taking it one meal at a time. I'm not looking at the long days ahead, but 1 meal, 1 day at a time.
I took it one meal at a time and made it through with no undue cravings. I was also not as hungry as I usually am and found that I could wait for my meals to come without being overly hungry. I usually am able to do 2 days consecutively raw, so I'll post on day 3 to see if I made it. Day 2 will basically be the same with variations on fruits, veggies, nut meats, desserts eaten.
