Jenifae's Raw Journey

Keep getting off Track

Rate this Entry
Every Weekend I seem to fall into SAD and I'm sad about this. I am still not feeling well. I always feel so good when RAW and yet I keep hurting myself and making myself feel yucky and also, I throw my body off and go into an emotional/mental tail-spin.
I don't know what my bottom is with this yet. But, I'd like to hit and be 100% committed with no more relapses. I'm tired of feeling Gross, Emotional, and Unstable. I'm also tired of the scale moving up and down.
I need HELP!

How about just making a 7 day commitment? That might make it easier to get through the weekend. On Monday you could start over with a fresh commitment, or not. Don't think of yourself as gross, emotional, or unstable. If this was so easy, more people would do it. Your already a success by just trying.:)

Hi sweetie, every time I look at your photo, I think you look way too young to be a Granny. Why not go back to using more Green Smoothies? I find they help somuch with cravings, energy and mood. They really keep me on an even keel. Just an idea - get back to the greenpart.:) You will do well - just stop beating yourself up and take it maybe a day at a time. You know what some say: "baby steps".

Thanks RawKnitster & islesgirl...........you two are so sweet. Great suggestions. Tomorrow I was actually planning on a Green Smoothie - Fruit only day. Maybe, I could just stay focused on 1 day at a time............to much ahead of myself can make me obsessive. LOL!

I'd been doing the same thing for the past two years with raw until this month. I have this masochistic love affair with perpetuating the things that make me feel good for two seconds and bad for two weeks. Maybe I've already said this, but what got me this time was the knowledge I was either going to feel crappy (forever) eating a S.A.D. diet or I was going to feel crappy (for a while) transitioning into raw. I'm also doing more mono-meals this time. Hope that helps!
