Went to the Farmer's Market today. Fortunately my favorite organic vendor was in a shady spot. Still, it was hot today. Everything looked a little wilted. Got the usual, 2 kinds of kale, and bokchoy. He suggested cutting the ends off the kale and putting the stems in water for an hour, then wrap ends in wet paper towels, and put in fridge. It really worked! Plumped it up! The lettuce was looking wilted. He went to his truck and came back with a fresh head, just picked this morning. Filled up my market bag with a bunch of spicy red radishes.

Didn't try to make Nirvana balls today. Would have meant a lot of taste testing and I wasn't into sweet stuff today. Wanted garlic. Lots of garlic. Went to the vege market for a portabella mushroom. Marinated it in olive oil, shoyu, garlic, cumin, thyme. Served it up with tomato and avocado. Ate some wrapped in that fresh picked lettuce. Ate some in an onion bread sandwich. Good thing I'm home tonight, I must stink.

Have a great weekend!

Love the picture! I'm going to our local market this Wednesday. Instead of being open in the mornings, it's only open in the evening. LOL at your garlic and onion feast! I'm glad you are listening to what your body tells you it wants. Way to go!
