I bought new clothes

Yesterday, Vern and I drove to Anchorage. We shopped at Sears and I had not been there for several years. Since I have been eating raw foods, my usual clothes had gotten just a bit too big and I wanted and needed to get some that fit better. Besides, I wanted to get regular length skirts or dresses because I just don't feel the need to cover up so thoroughly any more. I did not try things on before I bought them because it is so difficult with the brace and I was using the store's wheelchair.

Anyway, when we got home I tried on the size 16 skirt and it fit! My normal clothes were size 20-22. A size 16 seems so much smaller, but not where I want to stop. The other skirts I bought were all 18 and I might have to return them next time we go to Anchorage. It was fun buying clothes in the ladies department for a change. I also bought several tops that are extra large and large for when I lose a bit more.

The scales have not seemed to have moved much the past month or so and I was worried that most of my weight loss had ceased. Now, I am somewhat more optimistic again.
