D.48 - Now I know why I avoided milk products
The last two days I have eaten salads with SAD ranch dressing, and yesterday I ate some SAD cottage cheese. Now, I could make big excuses detailing why I caved on these points, but honestly, it WASN'T because I had overwhelming cravings or because I just NEEDED to eat crappy dairy food.
LOL
It was simply because I was experimenting to see if I really HAD been so heavily lactose intolerant all those years...
Wow. Talk about some proof!!! The cottage cheese slowed my metabolism ALMOST instantly, made my throat fill with nastiness ALL day today, and left me feeling grumpy and stuffed and drained all at once yesterday.
I'm also craving greens like crazy this week. Hopefully tomorrow I remember to bring a big salad to work, with lemons, olive oil, artichoke hearts (my fave cheat beside hearts of palm, avacados, pine nuts, organic tomatoes, etc to top it off and make it delicious. Maybe even some corn!?
Anyway, I desperately need sleep. I worked 15 hours straight through today, on my feet without many breaks. My mind is numb and my legs are in pain. Time to call it a night and get a few hours sleep.
