Hello raw food journal!
I woke up hungry this morning. Craving cooked food some. It didn't help that we ate at Mimi's Cafe today. I got a new dryer today(Yahoo!) I resisted all of the crap and ordered a spring mix salad with balsamic v. dressing. It was scrumptious! It had dried cranberries, walnuts, tomatoes, lots of leafy lettuce. I took off the cheese and meat. I struggled w/cravings today. I was around all of that so called good food and it made me hungry. Some places don't bother me because I don't care for their food. But Mimi's is good. I did drink my green smoothie after lunch because I was still hungry. It helped to fill me up and stop the cravings. I had some pie when I got home and now I am still hungry. I am not going to stress over eating a tad of cooked food. I have made a 180-degree turn in my eating habits. I don't have a dehydrator or my juicer yet to make extra snacks to keep on hand. Something really filling. I haven't had the time or money to make some really delicious recipes from Alissa's book. I won't starve myself to stay raw. I am proud of myself. I haven't had bread, meat, mayonnaise, and cookies in several days. I am doing well! I am just trying not to eat junk and stay full. I'm tyring to watch my preservative intake too. They make me feel bad and make my skin dull and lifeless. I think one of my problems is just simply not enough raw foods and this problem will solve itself in time. I do enjoy raw and I think could stay
full if I had more foods. Not to worry, my love . It will happen. I needed off meats and mashed potatoes/gravy and rolls. I'm trying to heal and maybe I will go raw in the process. My taste buds have changed. Praise the Lord! I do find myself craving some leafy greens and eating things I normally wouldn't have touched(cucumbers and avocados) YES! So, if my stomach growls and I need some cooked food and I am out of raw I will be okay to eat a little for now. Better than to starve and get weak. I was eating alot of high fatty foods in order to get nourished and it was toxic. I don't need that.
*superfoods/strawberry-really craving them/banana smoothie
*green smoothie- spinach, romaine, parsely, green apple, kiwi, lemon juice,
*Kangen water w/lemons-They are alkalizing
