Not doing good today. It's got to be a detox thing. Feeling stiff, lots of aches, especially in my legs, ankles are swollen. I just couldn't get warmed up. It's more than discomfort. Feeling mentally challenged and emotionally edgy.
I layed down to relax and meditate before writing. It was difficult to empty my mind and relax, it's like my mind was scratching and clawing to hang on to all the crappy little thoughts I was trying to erase. So I let them run around in there for awhile. Finally managed to let go and relax my body with some deep breathing. When I got up 20 minutes later I was so stiff I could barely move. But, I do feel a tiny bit better.
Thinking about what, if anything, may have set this off. After reviewing what I've been doing the last few days I see some things I need to change.
1. Drink more water, have been forgetting. Need a pint 3 hours after each meal, and/or 30 min before a meal.
2. Follow food combining guidelines. Stop combining fruits and vegetables in smoothies. For me, greens are not neutral. I cannot combine them with any fruit except apples and pears. Tastes good, but makes me feel bloated and uncomfortable for several hours.
3. Do some physically challenging activity or exercise everyday. No excuses.
4. Relax and meditate twice a day.
5. Lighten up!
Almost didn't journal tonight. Was afraid of complaining to much. Glad I did. Writing it out seems to help me deal with it.
